Our Client Service Reps
Bre
Bre is attending college and majoring in Communications. She would like to use her degree to help advertise homeless animals and to make people aware that help is always needed for animals. She has three cats: Winx, Chips and Amigo. Bre works as an animal assistant and as a client service representative and has been a valuable part of our team since 2009.
Savanna
Savanna joined our team in 2015 and has been working in veterinary clinics for about three years. As a student she was in FFA where she bred and raised goats and sheep. She has loved animals from a young age but also loves helping people. Savanna lives with kitties Gus and Sushi and hiking partner Sammi the dog.
Shelby
Shelby joined The Cat Care Clinic team in November of 2017. She came from a feline only practice in The Woodlands, Texas where she discovered her love for cats! Shelby’s dad trained race horses, when she was young, and taught her proper animal care and treatment. Shelby has been involved in the veterinary field for several years and has two spoiled kitties of her own. She is enjoying her new life in California.
Anastasia
Anastasia joined our team in 2017 but has an extensive history of working in a cat-only environment. Her love of animals extends past felines (although, they are her favorite), and she has special interests in entomology and botany. She is dedicated to the care of animals, the advocacy of protecting them, and she can’t imagine having any other career than working with them. Outside of the clinic, Anastasia is either out and about in nature or at home with her cat children, Button and Edgar, reading and binging Netflix.
Zack
Zack is our senior hospital cat. He was born a in Newport Beach in July of 2002. Dr. Wexler-Mitchell and her husband trapped Zack, his stray mother, and three siblings. After being vaccinated and sterilized, Dr. Wexler-Mitchell developed a special connection with Zack and decided to keep him at the clinic and homes were found for the other cats. Zack is a bit shy at first, but he really is a lover when he gets to know you.
Oliver
Oliver is our greeter and PR Cat. We adopted him as a kitten through a local rescue group in 2017. Ollie loves to be the center of attention. He thinks that everything in the clinic is his as well as anything that is brought into the clinic by others. Ollie is our demonstration assistant, blood donor, and entertainer at the front desk. We’re not sure that Ollie will stay inside the clinic. You may see him with a harness and leash, so we can keep track of him and make sure he doesn’t wander out.
Keanu
Keanu is our youngest clinic cat. Dr. Wexler-Mitchell met him when he was an abandoned but friendly kitten on the island of Kauai in March 2018 and worked to have him rescued and sent to us. Keanu has been accepted by his “older brothers” Zack and Ollie, and all three get along well. Keanu likes to cuddle and is a real lover.
